Tour Details

Between October and April, Iceland has a long winter. The sites are less crowded and this is the best time of year for those who want to see the Northern Lights. In winter, the landscape is contrasted, with white snow and black sand beaches and volcanoes. This trip is for those who want to travel in small groups and discover the beauty of the Icelandic landscape in the company of a knowledgeable guide.

In one week, you’ll have the chance to visit some of the most emblematic sites of the South Coast, from majestic waterfalls to black sandy beaches, glaciers and icebergs. You’ll also enjoy the intimate atmosphere of Reykjavik the Icelandic capital and will dig into the warm water of the famous Blue Lagoon. A complete trip that also offers you the opportunity, if weather permits it, to see Northern lights.

Higlights of this trip
  • Iceland in winter: the dominant colors are white and blue, often accompanied by fairy skies. For those who know Iceland in the summer, with its chaos of black lava, winter is an opportunity to discover a landscape “smoothed” by snow, from which emerge only the most chaotic lava peaks.
  • A trip without driving. From your arrival at the airport to your flight departure, our travel agency will take care of everything, you just have to follow the program…
  • A guided trip. You’ll immerse yourself into the culture and history of Iceland with your guide. You’ll learn a lot about Iceland from volcanism to nature, people…
  • Towards the glacier. This trip will take you to the Vatnajökull glacier, the largest glacier in Europe, where you will have the chance to make two amazing excursions, a walk on the glacier and the visit of an ice cave. Some unforgettable moments that you will surely experience only once in your life.
  • See northern Lights. The icing on the cake, this trip offers you the opportunity to see the northern lights in the best conditions. Your guide will be there to interpret the weather forecast and tell you what are your chances of seeing the Northern Lights. Accommodations outside Reykjavik are privileged location, far from any light pollution.
Our commitments:
  • A selection of partners engaged in more responsible tourism.
