On your arrival at Keflavik international airport, you pick up your luggage and take a bus just outside the main terminal to Reykjavik. Being located in the center, you’re able to reach everything on foot, enjoying a large choice of coffee place, bars and restaurants for this first evening in Iceland.
After a large breakfast taken at your accommodation, you have more free time to explore the capital. In the afternoon you take a bus from the bus station to the Blue Lagoon where you will have plenty of time to pamper yourself in the hot spring rich in silica. Enjoy a welcome glass, an absolute relaxing moment and a real Icelandic way of life. The bus will drop you back in town on time for a free evening.
Today, you leave Reykjavik for a three-day adventure tour, an amazing way to explore the country’s highlights of the South Coast. Your guide will pick you up after breakfast. You’ll start with two beautiful waterfalls, Seljalandfoss and Skogafoss are among the most impressive waterfalls in the country. You will continue this day with a stop at Reynisfjara beach, known for its beautiful basalt columns and slender rocks. Here the power of the ocean is infinite. On the other side of the cliffs, is found the beach of Vik and its famous petrified trolls. This black sandy beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Hopefully, evening to fully appreciate the show of the northern lights.
You continue this journey towards the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Return to Reykjavik with may be a last chance on the way to see some Northern lights.
Free day in the capital. Continue to explore Reykjavik, a big small city, visit some of its great museums, walk through the narrow streets of the city center, admire the cultural center Harpa or the beautiful Hallgrimskirkja church. Finally a visit to Reykjavik is never complete without a tour to its small harbor one of the best place for diner.
